In chrome the font size are normal. If I simply downloaded it via google chrome, the text boxes stayed blank. So I went to 'Print' then 'Open in Preview'. There all the text boxes were filled out (how I did in Google Chrome) and then I could sign it in Preview and save as a PDF. Make sure your cursor in inside the text box (as though you were going to start typing) then bring up the text box properties cmd + e. This will bring up the text box properties menu where you should see the font, font size, etc. You CAN change font properties in a text box within a PDF. To change the font size, highlight the text you want to change and press Ctrl + E. A 'Text Bpx Text Properties' window will open, from which you can change the font, font size, alignment and font style. How can I change font size and color in a text box in Adobe Acrobat XI. I've created a text box in Adobe Acrobat XI on-line version, and the box border and text colors are defaulting to red. In addition, the font defaults to Arial.

Change Font SizeSince the caveats both deal with the effect of this hint on other apps, why not set the size just for Preview?defaults write com.apple.preview NSSystemFontSize -int 9
Mac osx text speech voices for windows. Using
defaults also avoids the need for 3rd party apps to change the setting.
Um, because I'm not a UNIX geek and so didn't know how to do that?
You can edit property lists using Property List Editor in your Utilities folder. Frankly, it annoys me when people suggest the defaults command without also mentioning Property List Editor. They're just showing off. https://newchatter487.weebly.com/power-point-for-mac-glow-text.html.
Property List Editor isn't in the default install, is it?
I'm pretty sure you have to install the dev tools to get Property List Editor.
Since the caveats both deal with the effect of this hint on other apps, why not set the size just for Preview?Actually, it's com.apple.Preview with a capital 'P'. My filesytem is formatted with case-sensitive HFS+ (not the default).
On a somewhat related issue. Does anybody know how to change the Highlight Color when searching pdf's in Preview? On my system it's grey, which I find hard to see. My Highlight Color in System Preferences is set for Yellow which works when dragging text in Preview, but doesn't work for Searching.
The highlight color picks up the system default color; however, because the search drawer steals focus, you have to hit Tab to give the document window focus (and the highlight colors it deserves). I haven't seen a way to modify the background highlight color.
Thanks! I never noticed this.
As usual, use Silk, as well as the other Unsanity hacks, at your own risk. They write into the application's memory space by using the debugger API, a nasty hack. Since the app doesn't know that its memory has been changed, instability arises. Apparently it's less of a problem if you don't keep apps open for long periods of time.

How do I set the default font for the text box tool in Adobe Acrobat?
(If the solution depends on the version, assume Version 8.)

After configuring your desired fonts, you should be able to click in a white area of the text box and select 'make current properties default'. A wild cat appears text art. That should save your font settings.

I tried to solve the same issue for a long time and now I found the solution.I think this issue regards only Win 7 64bit users with Adobe X Pro.So, if you want to change the default font for the textbox, and the right click and Set As Default Properties does not work, the only way is to modify value in regedit.Don't worry about, but be really careful inside registry.
